Weekend Recap

This past weekend Adam's Dad and Memaw came to visit us.  Adam's mom was supposed to come but she was sick, so Memaw came in her place.  They got here late Friday night, so it wasn't too long before we all headed to bed.

Saturday, we started off the morning by registering Britt for soccer for both the fall and spring.  He is so excited to start playing.  He talked about it most of last week.

There is a nice park right near the building we registered in, so we let the kids play there for a while.  It was a pretty hot and muggy day, so we didn't stay there long.  We then headed to purchase Britt's soccer shoes, shin guards, and ball.  Papa got those for him.  Britt is ready to go play soccer.  Paisley even got a pink soccer ball of her own.  She has to do everything her brother does ;)

We went to Cracker Barrell for lunch and then started shopping around town.  Kohl's was having a great sale and we found a lot of good deals there.  It was around 6:00pm before we finished shopping and we were all a little hungry, after debating over all the various resturants we decided on Sonny's.  It was a good choice for all of us.

We stopped by Walmart and Krispy Kreme after dinner and then headed home.  Adam and his Dad started playing the Wii and they ended up playing the rest of the night.  They really seemed to have a good time.

Sunday morning we all ate our doughnuts and stayed around the house.  Adam and his Dad played the Wii again.  For lunch I made a roast beef and some sides.  It was nice to spend the morning low key.

After lunch, we made a few stops at hardware stores and then went to the park again for Britt and Paisley to play for a little bit until Papa and Memaw had to leave.

When we got back home we straightened the house a little bit and then just spent what was left of the evening relaxing.

Sadly, these are my only pictures from the weekend.

It sounds like you all had a really nice time! Thank you so much for the adorable shoes for Libby! I am sure she will look as cute as a button in them. :)

You are welcome. I just saw the sandals and they were such a good deal, I thought I would buy them.

We did have a nice time this past weekend. Mike and Memaw seemed to enjoy themselves. Hopefully, they did.

I saw that picture of Libby on facebook. She is such a little cutie and looks very pleasant. I hope I get to see her again before she gets too big.

Love,
