Vacation with the Family

One of our Christmas presents from Adam's parents this year was a family trip to Disney World. I was probably more excited than the kids because I have been waiting my whole life to go there. We had a great time. There were 12 of us total including Meme, Papa, Nanny, Mammaw, Matthew, Sarah, Celie, Libby and the four of us. It was really nice to be with everyone and great to have all the help with the kids.

Our first full day we went to the Magic Kingdom. No one had any major agendas, so we just went through the park and did things as we came across them. That day, we ended with dinner at Chef Mickey's. It was really neat because different Disney Characters would come up to your table while you were eating and say hi. Britt and Celie loved it. Paisley on the other hand did not. I think the least intimidating characters to her were Pluto and Minnie Mouse.

The second day we all went to Animal Kingdom. I have to say my most favorite park of that park was the Kilimanjaro safari ride. We got to see all kinds of animals up close. It is definitely worth the long wait. We ended the day with dinner at the Animal Kingdom lodge. Our meals were included in our package (free for Florida residents hint, hint) which definitely helped a lot since they would have cost us an arm and a leg. They were all really good.

The next day we packed up and headed home. We ended the trip talking about were we might go next year. Sounds like fun to me!
