You Will Be Missed

Sorry, I haven't posted much lately. I know you were on the edge of your seat waiting for me to post something new ;)

I, along with my sister, her husband, and the kids had to leave home suddenly and go up north because we got news that my grandmother was not doing well. Sadly, she went home to be with Jesus soon after we arrived on March 23.

As a grandmother, I couldn't ask for anyone better. She and my grandfather lived next door to me growing up and I would always be at her house. When I would get in trouble, I would always run up the hill to be consoled. I went there so often to visit without letting my Mom know that she developed a yard pass that she would give me and my grandmother would receive so, that my Mom knew where I was.

My grandmother was always more gentle brushing out the knots in my long hair so, I would ask her to brush it instead of my mom. I also remember being in the kitchen watching and helping to make some of the Blevins' (her maiden name) famous recipes.

There are so many memories that I can't even begin to list them all. I know that my grandmother is in a much better place. She has no more sorrow or pain but I still miss her deeply and will always remember what a one of a kind lady she was.

I Love You Grandma and can't wait to see you again someday.

I am so sorry about your grandmother. I still remember her at the wedding and she looked so pretty. Such a very sweet lady and I know the family is going to miss her deeply. But one consulation she is sitting with the heavenly father waiting for His return. I do pray for your grandfather that he will be ok during this time. And I also pray for your mom. I have never lost my mother and I know that it is very hard to imagine but just to know that she IS in a better place does help with the healing. Glad that you are home now with Adam, he truly was a basket case without you.

This is odd, I left a comment this morning and it is not here.
