I really had no idea what theme to do for Britt's party this year. We have done everything from Elmo (his first) to Dinosaurs. Well, when Britt agreed to a pirate theme my mind took off. I had asperations of doing all kinds of pirate themed games and really wanted to have the party at a park near here that has a pirate jungle gym. That got nixed because we held Britt's party the weekend of the 4th of July and that particular park had too much going on. It is good I didn't plan too many games because the kids spent all their time on the slide.
Adam happened to have a kidney stone attack a few days before the party and still had not passed the stone by party day. Luckily, he did pass it that day and had some fun on the slide with the kids before the day ended.
Everything turned out really nice and we all had fun. It was great that Britt got to celebrate his birthday with his cousins. Here is (as usual) a picture overload, so you can see it for yourself.
