This past Sunday was my birthday. I had a really nice day spending time with my family. We didn't do anything grand but Adam's grandmother took us out to eat and then Adam and I got the kids ready to go to the beach. This really is a birthday present because although, we have a beach like 10 minutes away, it is like pulling teeth to get Adam to go. I guess it has a lot to do with him growing up near the beach. It is no big thing to him. The kids and I love it!
We finished the day by visiting Adam's brother's church and then eating Mexican food at a local restaurant. This was especially nice because it was just Adam and I. I don't know how long it has been since we ate out just the two of us. After dinner, I was ready to see my kiddos again.

I hardly ever go to the beach either and I actually LOVE it. The thought of taking half the house down there for Libby is not something that sounds fun right now. :) I am glad you had a nice birthday! Super cute pictures of the kids. Dinner with just adults is strange when you are able to enjoy it. When Matthew and I went out a few weeks ago we ate so quickly because that is what we are used to doing in order to take care of everyone else.
Belated happy birthday! I can't wait for beach weather here.
