Paisley's 3rd Brithday

Little Miss Paisley turned 3 this past Saturday.  To be honest it was kind of a lame birthday because we already had a party several weeks ago and I was just not into having another one on her actual birthday.  Poor thing, I can already see that having a birthday near Christmas time has it's disadvantages.

Paisley did however receive lots of birthday phone calls from relatives.  She really liked being a big girl and answering the phone.

Adam had to work, so after he got home, we took the kids to see Santa's Magic show at the mall. It actually snowed in the mall. Then we went to see the big Christmas lights display at the Hospital.  Pais had a great time walking around at her own pace and checking out all the lights.

The great thing about my kids and probably most kids in general is that, you really don't have to do anything spectacular or expensive for them to have fun.  I think spending quality time with them means more to them than anything.

That sounds like a great birthday to me! I agree that doing special stuff with them is better than anything else. How cool that it snowed in the mall, I bet that was a huge hit!

Happy Birthday, Paisley.

Your right, kids are happy even if you don't do something expensive or grand for them. They just want to have fun. Sounds like your daughter had a great birthday!
